The service

glith is an Android home-screen widget that shows a creator's growth as a grid of blocks filling toward a goal. It is made by an independent developer based in Romania.

Your account

Sign-in with Google is required to use glith. You are responsible for your Google account and for keeping it secure. One glith account tracks one channel at a time, and you can change which channel that is.

The numbers glith shows

glith displays subscriber counts as published by YouTube's API. YouTube rounds those counts for channels above 1,000 subscribers, and can change or delay what it publishes. glith shows what YouTube gives it and does not correct, estimate or supplement it, so the number in the widget can differ from what you see in YouTube Studio.

Studio and payments

Studio is a paid upgrade sold through Google Play, either as a subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your own currency.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. glith cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf — that is done in your Google Play account.

Payments are taken by Google Play, not by glith, and refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. If you are a consumer in the European Union, your statutory rights apply in addition to that policy.

Acceptable use

glith is for tracking public channel growth. You can track any public channel, including ones you do not own — that is a normal, supported use, not a misuse.

What is not allowed: disrupting the service, signing in to or tampering with another person's glith account, or working around the limits on how often glith reads data.

Availability and changes

glith depends on services it does not control, including YouTube's API and Google's infrastructure, and may be interrupted when they are. glith may change or discontinue features, with notice where practical. If glith is discontinued entirely, active paid subscriptions will be cancelled so they stop billing.

No warranty

glith is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here removes rights that consumer law gives you and does not permit to be removed.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, glith's total liability to you is limited to what you paid for glith in the twelve months before the claim. glith is not liable for lost growth, lost opportunities, or decisions made on the basis of a number shown in the widget.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including the statutory rights of consumers in the European Union.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using glith at any time by deleting your account in the account menu, which removes your data — see the privacy policy. Deleting your glith account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel that separately in Google Play. glith may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as glith gains features. Updates are posted on this page, and the date at the top changes with them.
