Delete your glith account

This page is for glith, the Android home-screen widget that shows your growth as a grid of blocks filling toward a goal. You can delete your glith account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. If you pay for Studio with a subscription that is still set to renew, cancel it in Google Play first.

First, cancel a subscription that still renews

Deleting your glith account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, and the glith app cannot cancel one for you. If your Studio subscription is still set to renew, cancel it before you delete your account, or Google Play keeps charging you after the account is gone.

  1. Open your subscriptions on Google Play, signed in with the Google account you subscribed with. On your phone you can instead open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Choose glith, then Cancel subscription.

A subscription you have already canceled needs nothing more. It ends by itself at the end of the period you paid for.

A lifetime purchase needs no step. It belongs to your Google Play account, not to your glith account, so deleting your glith account does not remove or refund it. If you use glith again later, Restore purchases brings Studio back.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open glith and tap Account at the bottom of the home screen.
  2. In the Account section, tap Delete account.
  3. Tap Delete to confirm.

Your account is deleted right away, and you are signed out.

Delete your account by email

If you no longer have the app, email support@glith.app from the address of the Google account you signed in to glith with, and ask for your account to be deleted. Cancel a subscription that still renews first, as described above. Your account is then deleted, and you get a reply within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes, immediately:

  • Your account record and everything in it
  • Your registered devices and their push-notification tokens
  • Your Google sign-in record with glith
  • The tracked channel's cached data, if nobody else is tracking that channel

The privacy policy lists what an account record holds under What glith collects. On your phone, deleting the account also clears the widget's cached image and settings.

What is kept

If you started a free Studio trial, glith keeps a note that the tracked channel has used its one trial, so the same channel cannot take the trial again and again. That note holds the channel's public id and the dates only. It does not hold your account id, your email, or anything else about you.
